On December 13th 2015 ME IMPORTAS took part on the 12th SUNDAY MARKET of Valladolid. We managed a stand where we provided information about our projects and had arts & crafts from India & Guatemala.

On the 24th of September 2015, ME IMPORTAS organised its II CHARITABLE DINNER in Madrid, in LA KITCHEN restaurant. The activity was a great success and we were warmly supported by our friends in Madrid. The money raised was destined to our Education & Development projects.

UNFINISHED PROJECT, ME IMPORTAS´s last initiavive.

Twelve of the best illustrators and designers in Spain have teamed up with ME IMPORTAS in UNFINISHED PROJECT, an awareness project conceived to communicate our need to count with stable funding in order to complete our projects from beginning to end.

Ricardo Cavolo, Aitor Saraiba, Berto Martínez, Conrad Roset, Amaia Arrazola, Lyona, Chamos San, Sara Morante, Fosca Bertrán, Andrés Lozano, Jorge Acuña and Teresa Cano have collaborated in a solidary calendar, reminding us with each of their unfinished pieces that without stable financing, the work of ME IMPORTAS can also end unfinished.

Me Importas CHARITABLE DINNER in MADRID

On the 18th of September 2014, ME IMPORTAS organised a CHARITABLE DINNER in Madrid, in LA KITCHEN restaurant. The activity was a great success and we were warmly supported by our friends in Madrid. The money raised was destined to our Education & Development projects.

2nd Fund-Raising ME IMPORTAS race in Palencia

On the 13th of September 2014, ME IMPORTAS organised its second fund-raising race in Palencia in the local park ‘Ribera Sur’ which was accompanied by a raffle, charity market and live music.

The money raised was destined to our project helping disabled children which is developed jointly with Guatemalan non-profit organisation AMIGUITOS in the village of El Estor. The race was a great success and we were warmly supported by the people of Palencia.

BOLLYMADRID 2014. Indian festival in Madrid

On the 6th, 7th and 8th of June 2014 ME IMPORTAS returned to BOLLYMADRID festival in Lavapies, Madrid for the third year in a row. We managed a stand where we provided information about our projects and sold arts & crafts from India & Guatemala, helping raise funds for our programmes. We also carried out a workshop for small children which was a great success.

Benefit Concert in Vitoria-Gasteiz 22/02/2014

On February 22th, ME IMPORTAS celebrated a classical music concert performed by the group VIVACE ENSEMBLE in the Music Conservatory "Jesús Guridi" (Vitoria-Gasteiz). The concert was for the benefit of our Centre of Child Care placed in the community of Bantala (Kolkata-India).

The gallery was a walkthrough of the identities of the people involved in our projects as well as the sponsored children in our projects from both India and Guatemala, emphasising on their human condition and their identity as individuals. The gallery opened on the 10th of May in an event that brought together all of our friends residing in Madrid.
